This book gives a solid teaching to the scriptural foundation for dance being used as a form of praise and worship to the Lord. With a study of the hebrew and greek root words, one can better understand the use of dance as a biblically acceptable expression of praise and worship. Times of restoration, deliverance, healing, salvation, celebration, victory in battle, praise, and worship, are all situations where dance expression and movement are very appropriate in the Lord. This study will assist all who desire to experience more freedom in their expressions of adoration to the Lord for all the wonderful things he has done. Linda always felt like there was a 'dancer' inside of her. She never had any formal training, but at 43 years of age, the Lord began to unlock a new anointing. In the beginning, she would be so nervous when she would minister before a crowd. Her mouth would go dry, and hands and limbs would tremble in fear, but by the power of God's anointing, he took a weak but willing vessel, and has allowed her to minister in the teaching of the word of God, and worship dance before multitudes. The Theology Of Dance is the first of many expected books to come forth, from a life yeilded to the leading of the Holy Spirit. You will be encouraged to step forward into this type of ministry as you read this book.
Forward by Dr. Pamela Hardy of The Eagles International Training Institute, and Set Free Evangelistic Ministries, Plano, Texas: Dr. Hardy says: The word of God is always to be our foundation in all things. Whenever we build, His word is the only solid truth that we can always count on. In this book. Linda Conrey has done an excellent job at laying a foundation for many in the movement ministry to build on. She brings clarity and information that is vital, relevant and necessary to understand why we dance! This book presents God's word with excellence and gives us all permission to worship our King in the dance. After all, everything that God created has life, and life has movement. All cultures have dances that are indigenous to their culture. The culture of our Kingdom is praise and worship! Linda has presented a sound, scholarly, biblical study of dance. This book is a great addition to any library, whether you are a novice or if you have been engaged in worship unto our King for many years. When one meets Linda, it is easy to see the love of the Lord in her eyes, the beauty of the Lord on her face and true worship unto God in her movements. Her heart shines through and brings glory to the King. No wonder the nations are calling! I encourage her to continue to lay a solid foundation so that others can build on it. Continue to write the vision for worship, so that those who read it can run with it! There is a time and purpose to everything under heaven, even a time to dance. Praise His name with dancing...Psalm 149:3.
Apostle Pamela Hardy
