Dance Conference Testimonies
Give unto the Lord the glory due his name, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalms 29:2
The Vision:
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. Isaiah 61:1-3
We are sharing these testimonies of what the Lord did in the hearts of some of the people, in Trinidad, through the teachings of the worship dance conferences. These personal testimonies are recorded as they were written by the worshiper. Look what the Lord has done!

Your dance ministry has opened another level to worship God in the secret place at home. Now I have liberty to worship God in the sanctuary with the saints of God.

My mom died when I was just a little girl, my dad became an alcoholic, he provided for us, but there were times he had his moments. Because of this I became an introverted person. I would build walls so that no one could get close.
I believe that the dance class has broken down some of these walls, and helped me to become stronger. The Holy Spirit really works in your dance ministry and in your life so that lives can be changed.

God is a big God. I needed help to choreograph a dance, and was disappointed when I got no help. I said that God will have to do something. That was my conclusion on Friday, 9th March 2007. Saturday, 10th March, I got a sigh of help. However on Sunday evening my neighbour, Sister Rosemarie Bridglal brought over a flyer, inviting anyone to a dance seminar. She encouraged me to attend.
On Monday 12th March, I attended the first session. I realized that (dance conference) was my response from God. It was bigger, better, than I expected. God is perfect, really perfect. He is excellent. He has given me the best in this dance seminar in more ways than one. I now have a (spiritual)weapon.
On Friday 16th March God touched me in the seminar. I can't seem as yet to be able to express in words what happened. I thank God for being so interested in me. I can now help others.

I really want to thank God for bringing sister Linda and sister Shirley to Word of Life Faith Centre, to teach the people what (worship) dancing is all about.
This past week that we have spent learning to dance, has made a great change in my life. I saw dancing at a highter level, it was more than just dancing, it was worshiping before the Lord.
I also realized that the devil is bringing music all wrapped up, and trying to persuade our minds to listen to these insolent songs, which have no purpose in our lives. I no longer want to listen to this kind of music, which is teaching the wrong message, and not glorifying God.
These messages that have been preached (during the conference) have been sent directly from God through our dance leaders. Each and every night we gathered in the sanctuary, the presence of God was always with us.
One of the nights the anointing was flowing so strong, I felt like I was embracing God, and just being with my Creator. It felt so breathtaking and loving. Everyone started praying, and singing, and worshiping God. It was so amazing. I never felt like this before. God was just working in my life.
From today (March 18, 2007) on, I want to be set apart for the Lord. I want to be holy and righteous, so people would see God's work in my life. This is a seed that I have planted, and I know, and have faith, that this dance ministry, will have an impact on the world, and many people are going to be saved by God, and will be set free. Thank you Lord, for changing my life.

To say that the dance conference had a tremendous, profound impact on me is an understatement! It truly was a life changing week of worship.
The most significant part of the dance conference for me, were the hour and a half long sessions, on teaching the Word, as it relates to dance, praise, worship, the use of banners, and the heart of the worshiper. Truly my life will never be exactly the same as it was before the conference.
First it made me truly realize, that truly, truly we can worship God in dance, and we can use dance to usher in the presence and glory of God into a place. The pains that you took to highlight that it all starts with our times of individual intimacy with God, were not in vain. I understand now how a team of true dance worshipers, can positively impact a congregations services, in the same way, that we usually expect a person who leads worship in song to.
The teaching on the use of flags, on their colors and the motions with them, and so their use in intercession was truly new to me. This is an area that I believe I can definitely apply to my life.
The impact this week will have on my ministry is yet to be seen physically, but it will be potent when manifested...I know that where as I never thought of myself as being called to dance, God would never have allowed me to go through the whole conference without a reason. It then had me really reflecting on my interest in dance since I accepted Christ, my attendance at dance teachings, ect. and my own answer to prayer of having a personal dance studio in my appartment. It has truly challenged me in the last week to see where dance fits into my ministry. The conference has also caused me to look at plans for dance ministry in my home church, and in the nation...
