RMI Mission Updates
In Mark9:37-38 Jesus said...."The harvest truely is plenteous, but the laborers are few, pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest."
Mission Update for March 31, 2009 Trinidad
Since our last update on March 18th I have spent my remaining time of this mission trip in Trinidad mainly ministering in the villages of Rio Claro and California (Phoenix Park).
Pastor Arjun of Word Of Word Life Church in California, Trinidad invited me to speak at a house church in the village of Phoenix Park. I was received warmly, and was asked to return for another night of meetings the following Monday night. The Pastors wife, being a worshipper herself, was very excited for the teachings I shared with them, and wept tears of joy for the Word of God that came forth. I have been invited to return and minister again to this precious group of believers.
I also met Pastor Steve, who pastors a small church in the village of Rio Claro, Trinidad. Again as I shared on worship, Pastor Steve was moved to tears, and requested with much earnestness for me to come again to their village, refusing to take "no" for an answer. What could I do? I accepted his invitation, and therefore will return to Trinidad at a future date. While with Pastor Steve, the anointing of the Lord was flowing as words of knowledge, words of wisdom, and prophetic words for the people of the congregation began to come forth as I prayed for each member of the congregation. This was a very exciting thing, as the Lord confirmed many things to the people through these gifts of the Spirit.
While in Trinidad, I met Pastor Solomon Dotson from Pennsylvania, and had opportunity to get to know this man of God, as we were both staying in the San Fernando area of Trinidad. Pastor Dotson spoke a prophetic word over my life and ministry that there would be an expansion into television and radio ministry. Prophetic words being as they are, there is no way to set a time frame to them, so I received the word of the Lord, and will trust him to make it good in his timing. Pastor Dotson has also extended an invitation for me to come to his church in Pennsylvania and minister later this year.
I did have the opportunity to do one radio broadcast teaching over 'Life Radio' in Trinidad while I was there. This was a tremendous blessing, and I look forward to many more such opportunities. Also some of the lessons I taught at Word of Life Faith Center in San Fernando, Trinidad were aired over the Internet.
While in the Nations of Guyana I ministered in a total of 8 churches, and met 5 new Pastors, who have opened their doors to the ministry of RMI
All in all it was a good trip. I rejoice at all the wonderful things the Lord has done. I want to say thank you to all of you who support this ministry with your finances and your prayers. We are co-laborers together in the Kingdom of God and Ambassadors to the Nations. All gifts given to RMI are tax-deductible.

Mission Update for March 18, 2009 Trinidad & Guyana
Trinidad!!
Greetings from Trinidad!!! As most of you know, I am on the move again in the nations of Trinidad & Guyana. God is good and many doors of ministry are opening. There have been many blessings and many challenges along the way. I have endured food poisoning, having no access to water for days andweeks at a time, dietary changes, dealing with attitudes of racism, and merciless mosquitos!! But God is faithful and every obstacle has been overcome in Jesus Name.
I began my journey in San Fernando, Trinidad, on the west coast side of the country, and taught a worship dance conference focusing on the topics of:
*Freeing The Heart Of The Worshipper
This message deals with getting rid of things in our lives that would hinder us from having an intimate relationship with our Lord, so that we are truly free to worship him in a way we never have before.
*The 7 Hebrew Words For Praise
This message deals with the 7 meanings of praise from the Hebrew language. In the scripture every form of praise (and worship) depicts an action in it's demonstration. This teaching helps release the believer into the freedom of expression which God himself desires from his people.
*Prophetic Worship Dance and Intercession Over The Nations.
This teaching demonstrates the power of the dance being used to preach the Gospel in motion, and to use our body motions in demonstration of intercessory prayer and spiritual warfare over the nations. It is amazing to see how God speaks to hearts about the Nations of the Earth during this teaching.
Worship In Eternity
It is a fact that worship is the only ministry that will continue throughout eternity. It is to our advantage to learn what the Word of God truly has to say about it, so we can move in the blessing of God's presence now.
Favorable Responses
The response to these biblical teachings was very favorable from those who attended the meetings. God moved on the people to release more of their hearts to him, and to enter into another level of worship where they had never been before. Many laid struggles and sinful attitude down so that they could have a closer walk with the Lord. This is indeed worthy reason to rejoice, and makes the trip worth every bit of the cost and effort!
I am seeing that many in the church do not really understand biblical worship, and the liberty that the Lord gives us in our praise and worship of him. As I take them on a revealing journey of what the Word of God truly has to say about worship, people are amazed at the freedom that we have in the Lord, and they are released in their spirits to begin to move in that freedom.
I have also shared my message, 'God Wants To Take You To A Place...' This message speaks of that place of sacrificial worship in the Lord and how it will affect not only the generations but all eternity.
Tonight I will be teaching on what it means to 'Rejoice' in the Lord. The 4 main Hebrew meanings open up a whole new realm of expression to the believer, and sets our feet to dancing for joy in the Lord.
After being in Trinidad for 17 days, I traveled to Guyana to minister. The summary of that part of this journey is below in this update. I was in Guyana for 14 days and then returned to Trinidad. Upon my return, I visited a spent 3 days in the Village of Chickland & will spend2 days in the Penal area, reconnecting with the saints there in fellowship.
Then My journeys have carried me back to San Fernando for more ministry opportunities. I will also be ministering in the Mayaro beach area during my duration here at a Church Leadership Conference being hosted by Word of Life Faith Centre.
Guyana!!
After this first phase of teaching in Trinidad, I ventured to the Nation of Guyana in South America. I ministered in the areas within the regions of the Mahaicha and Corentyne areas. I held 14 meetings while in Guyana. I taught for 7 nights in Mahaicha, andgave special instruction to the newly forming dance team at The Word Of Life Faith Center Church, as well as taught the congregation. Meeting took place each night. In the Corentyne area, I held another 7 meetings speaking in 5 different churches on the need for sacrificial worship of the Lord, and how we must be willing to give him our very best, by yielding our lives and all that we have completely to him.
At the end of my time of ministry in Guyana, the Church doors were wide open to return to the nation, as all Pastors invited me to return in the near future. It has been requested that I return to do a conference in the Corentyne area and also to travel into the MahaichaCreek jungle area for evangelistic outreach. This is a return trip that will be looked forward to with much anticipation.
In the course of being in both Trinidad & Guyana, the Lord has had me encouraging the worshippers in spontaneous worship dance, and teaching them how to lead in worship dance within the context of a regular worship service, as led by the spirit of the Lord. This has had a very positive impact on the worship dance ministries, and helped them to learn to flow, teach, and learn from each member in ways they never have before, as they rotate leadership positions throughout the time of worship and the others follow whoever is leading at the time. With proper instruction and guidance, this is proving to be a successful method of quickly increasing the quality of ministry in this area.
All gifts given to Redemption Ministries International are tax-deductible and go toward preaching the gospels and needs associated with that purpose. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated. We thank you in advance for your generous prayers and support.
Blessings,
Linda Conrey
President of RMI

Mission Updates for October 29-December 8, 2008
In This Update:
The Year Of The Lord
New Book Release- 'Biblical Forms Of Worship'
We have just entered into the year 5769 according to the Jewish calendar. Numerically the phrase represented by this number means, 'May it be the year to taste and see that the Lord is good.' It is the year of Samekt Tet. The hebrew letter 'tet' according to Dr. Robert Heidler, by it's shape represents different things such as:
A womb representing a place where either good or evil could be conceived- depicting the need to 'discern' between the good and evil, especially in the secret places of our lives. Though this is to be a year of 'pregnancy and expectancy' (bringing to the birth a new cycle of life), we must remember pregnancy is not always comfortable. However, when the God breathed life of his purposes comes forth in our lives there is great joy. As a natural baby breaks forth from the womb at the appointed time, we must break forth of the old cycles (that which is familiar), to receive the new things the Lord desires to bring forth in and through our lives. Otherwise we will die in the 'womb'. There is a choice. Either we will live and flow with the plan of God or we will die- stillborn. God intends good for us, therefore, we can trust God because of his promise in Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the thoughts I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an 'expected' end. May we burst forth into the fulness of all God has for us.
A man bowing before a king We need to allow Jesus to dominate our lives and truly be our King, as we humbly bow our will to his. Psalms 95:6- Oh come let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our God our Maker.
A serpent If we are not willing to bow down to the King in humble submission, then that which was meant to be positive, the devil (the serpent) will cause to become perverted. Pride and rebellion allow the devil to build a stronghold in our lives, giving an entrance wherein evil can be conceived. We must discern between good and evil, and choose that which is good. Romans 12:9 ...abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
A wineskin This is a year of change for the church, a time of shifting. We need to be flexible, expandable, allow the Lord to pour his new wine, the joy of the Holy Spirit into our lives. For him to do this, we must flex andflow with him. The wineskin in the church represents the five fold ministry (Apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists and pastors). The Lord will not waste the new wine. If we are not willing to bendwithhim, he will find others to pour into. When we allow the Lord to form us into new wineskins, then he will use us to pour out the new wine. See the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:17-Neither do men put new wine into old bottles; else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish; but they put new wine into new bottles, andboth are preserved.
A king's signet ring, which speaks of authority, and judgment. The King's ring represented his name. When a kings signs his name to a decree he sends forth his intentions by his messengers. Jesus said in Mark 16:15-20 "GO yeinto all the world and preach the gospelto every creature (Kingly delegation). He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned (judgment). And these signs shall follow them that believe. In my 'name' shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents (authority), and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurtthem. They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth andpreached every where, the Lord working with them, andconfirming the word with signs following (operating in the Kings name and authority brings results). Also Jesus said in Luke 10:19 behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. We have been given the King's 'signet', and we need to use it.
The numerical meaning of this new year in summary represents:
The bringing forth of new things- visions, plans, purposes, etc.
We are to be expectant- Believing for what we do not yet see.
We are to discern between the good and the evil, and choose the good.
We are to submit completely to the will of the Lord for our lives, honoring him.
We are to have a heart of worship toward our Lord Jesus, for truly he is worthy.
We are to reject all evil.
We are to move and flow with the Holy Spirit, allowing the sweetness of his fruit to completely fill us as the wine fills the wineskin. Be ready for expansion in ministry. Be flexible.
Walk in the power and authority of our King, Jesus. Executing his will in the earth, overcoming the enemy, and working signs and wonders by the power of his name.
We can be obedient to the will of the Lord and walk in these things. We will truly 'taste and see the goodness of the Lord' in our lives.
May you have a blessed year in Christ.
Book #3 has now been released. Praise the Lord!!!
Oh God is so good!!!! Linda has just released her third book, entitled, Biblical Forms Of Worship. This book deals with the 'first mentions' of the different types of praise and worship found in scripture. So many times we as believers limit our worship to what we have seen or heard. However, if we will take the time to truly study what the word of God has to say about it, we will find that many of us fall short of the worship experience the Lord truly intends for us to have.
This book is an opportunity to just 'taste and see' where the Lord wants to take his people in worship. There is just so much more depth of His Presence, than what most of us are accustomed to. Yet we can experience this if we are willing to make the investment of our time and heart felt worship, as we come before the Lord of Glory, in the beauty of holiness. Much feedback has come concerning this book, as people are beginning to understand that God wants his people to worship him in passionate love, and liberty. Therefore, as now they have the knowledge to move into higher levels of praise and worship, thus inviting the very presence of the living God, a new experience is worship is released. When God's presence enters into our midst everything that he is becomes available to us. For more information click on the New Products page link to your left.
Linda has just graduated from her first year of training with The Eagles International Training Institute which took place at the Gathering Of The Eagles Summit, in Columbus Ohio. This summit is an annual event, where worshippers come from many nations to learn biblical principles in worship, dance, ministry, practical life skills, intimacy in their relationship with the Lord, and living a holy and uncompromising life. Linda graduated as a licensed Minister of Dance. She also received a special award certificate from EITI for her accomplishment of writing three biblical study books, in addition to her regular studies, within the course of her school year. She intends to not only make such teaching materials available to those who desire to go deeper in their relationship with the Lord, but she will eventually use them as ministry textbooks, in unity with the Word of God, in a ministry mentoring school she intends to conduct.
The Summit was hosted by Apostles Christopher and Pamela Hardy. The worship consisted of high praises anddeep intimacy withthe Lord. The topics at the Gathering Of The Eagles Summit had to do withHow to use the 'Key's Of The Kingdom' to unlock our destinies. The Keys are found in God's word, which is able to bindup or loose things into our lives. But we as believers must apply that word, enforce it, with the authority Jesus has given us through his name, before we will be able to walk in the fulness of our destinies.
The Holy Spirit moved in prophetic word, and signs and wonders flowing freely throughout the conference. Our God is a 'specific' God. If we are willing to listen, God will surely show and tell us things to come, by his rhema (spoken) word which comes by his Holy Spirit. Every rhema word will be confirmed with his logos (written) word. Linda received such a word from the Lord, concerning a life changing event that is in the not too distant future. He also gave her instruction to take a specific step of faith, to move her toward her promised destiny. She has obeyed the Lord. At the appointed time Linda will share what the Lord said, and how he brought it to pass. Change is on the threshold, We will wait for the Lord to put the pieces together. Linda does say that when this word comes to pass the strength of this ministry is going to greatly increase. Details will follow as the evidence of this prophetic word comes forth. Many times the Lord will give us just a glimpse of what he wants to do without the full explanation of it. This causes us to seek him for the understanding and the fulfillment of that 'Word' from him.
Linda intends to begin the writing of her forth book in early 2009. This book will be entitled, 'Biblical Foundation.' We will keep you updated as to the progress of this book.
Linda was in Queens, New York from November 7-12, 2008 and ministered at Grace Evangelistic Ministries, and Evangel Tabernacle Of New York, in worship dance and in the teaching of God's word. From there she moved on to Coatesville, and Downingtown, Pennsylvania where she ministered in three congregations. A three day worship dance conference was conducted at the Praise Fellowship Church in Downingtown, PA. While in Pennsylvania, Linda ministered on the following topics:
*Freeing The Heart Of The Worshipper
*The Theology of Dance
*The True Meanings Of Praise And Worship
*Prophetic Dance Over The Nations
*The Priesthood And The Garments (and what it means for the Church today).
*Raising Standards (flags, banners, ensigns what they mean and how to apply the principles of their usage to our Christian lives today).
*Reaching Our Destiny (Through humility: A study in the life of Joseph)
By the power of the Holy Spirit many hearts were changed and ministered to, especially in the understanding of where the Lord wants to take his people, in the areas of intimate praise and worship of our Lord.
From there Linda traveled to Martinsville, Virginia where she ministered at the Word Of Life Faith Center.
Linda's final stop was in North Carolina where she ministered to family members, and then was extremely blessed to meet the leadership and congregation of New Bethel Independent Church in Forest City, NC., who welcomed her warmly into their worship service. This was a special time that will be a treasured memory. While in NorthCarolina, Linda met with Minister Oreluwa Mahoney, who has so graciously offered his technical expertise to this ministry. He will begin the much needed task of rebuilding and improving our ministry website later this spring. Prayers have been bombarding the heavenly realms for the last five years for help in this area. God has finally answered and sent us the gift of Minister Mahoney, and we thank God for Minister Mahoney's willingness to serve in this way, for this is a tremendous blessing.
As always we love and appreciate all who stand with us in the work of the Lord. Your continued gifts of support and prayers are such an encouragement to us. It is a blessing when each member of the body helps supply what is needed. All gifts given to RMI are tax-deductible, and we will send you a receipt for your giving. Thank you in advance for your support.
God's blessing to you all......

Mission Update October 3, 2008
It's time for another ministry update.
Update includes:
New Construction update
New book release update
Ministry Graduation & Ministry Opportunities
Upcoming mission planning (Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana)
New Construction:
So much is happening, and we rejoice at the good things the Lord is doing. In my last update, I shared with you that I have entered into the building process after selling my former home. This has been an interesting experience, and I am seeing the process of building a home from the ground up. So many things are involved in the construction of a properly built home. So many critical decisions must be made. Sometimes it seems overwhelming, and yet as we take one step at a time it all begins to come together as it should.
Because this home is being built with a ministry vision in mind, whenever new contractors comes on to the property for the first time, I am there to meet them, and to share with them the vision of the house. I let them know that it is no accident that they are on this particular job. That the Lord has appointed them to be a part of the work and ministry that will take place in this new home. After sharing the vision with them, I pray with them, and the work begins. This has really helped to set a very positive atmosphere on the building site.
At times I have opportunity to minister to the contractors, and share the Lord with them. I am accustomed to going out to other places to minister, but in this instance the Lord is bringing souls to my property, so they too can hear of the wonderful works of the Lord.
In the initial excavation of the site, we were so thankful that we did not hit rock, as we were putting the basement in. When it came time to start laying the rough plumbing in the basement, we found we were only about a foot above some solid rock. God was so good to us. If we had hit rock while trying to dig out for the basement, things would have become very costly, if not impossible to complete.
Last year, while in Trinidad, the Lord spoke to my heart that Isaiah 61 was the new 'FOUNDATIONAL' scripture for the ministry. The word of God is always to be the standard for how we live our lives. Jesus himself, which is the word of God made flesh, is referred to as the Chief Cornerstone (Matthew 21:42, Mark 12:10, & Luke 20:17). Considering this fact, that Jesus is the perfect standard by which all things are to be built upon, I decided to make a physical demonstration of this truth in the building of this home. Therefore, as the footers for the block work were being poured, I decided to place an actual copy of the word of God, opened to Isaiah 61 into the cornerstone portion of the foundation.
The religious leaders of Jesus' day rejected him as the Chief Cornerstone, the standard of all truth. My actions were a declaration that Jesus, the Word Of God will never be rejected in this home. He is indeed the foundation and the standard for all that will take place, both inside and outside of it's walls.
Jesus speaks of his word as being a rock in Matthew 7:24-25. He promises that the wise man who builds his house upon the truths of God shall be able to withstand the storms of life, and his house will not fall. I believe this to be the truth. Only those things which we do in relation to the truth of God's word will stand through the storms and trials of life. Thank God for his unchanging word.
New Book:
My second book entitled, 'The Priesthood & The Garments,' is about to go to print. The final editting touches are being completed now. Every believer is Christ is called to be a priest unto the Lord as is quoted in 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
This books takes a look at the Levitical Priestly garments, andwhat they represent. As we look at each of the garments we see what the Lord would speak to us in our role as ministers today. As we learn their significance in the service of the Lord both in Old and New Testament times, the revelation of what these garments signify, and how they relate to the Christian believer today will be an experience in revelatory teaching. The Lord has provided spiritual garments for every believer. Some of these spiritual garments are the garment of salvation, robes of righteousness, garments of praise etc. If we are not properly 'clothed' in our spiritual garments, and walking in the priestly calling the Lord has set before us, we will not be able to come into the fullness of our destiny.
This book also explains the importance of being under proper godly authority, and living an uncompromisedlife before both God and man. It is a call to excellence in our Christian walk. This book will be encouraging, faithbuilding and challenging.
Dr. Pamela Hardy, founder of Set Free Evangelistic Ministries and The Eagles International Training Institute wrote the forward for this book. Excerpts from her forward read:
....the information contained in these pages is invaluable. It has the potential to bring forth a new level of excellence in the reader... You will be motivated to reach higher purpose in Christ.... We must come to an understanding of our priestly duties, so we can truly walk in the principles of the Kingdom.... Thank you, Linda for this timely book!
Copies of 'The Priesthood & The Garments' are $15.00 each plus $3.00 postage and handling.
Ministry Graduation and Ministry Opportunities:
I am preparing to once again take to the road in the work of the ministry. I will be leaving October 28th for my ministry graduation from the Eagles International Training Institute. Graduation is being held October 31st, in Columbus Ohio. The graduation will take place in the context of the Annual Eagles Leadership Training Conference, which runs from October 29th-November 1st.
If you have never been to this conference I highly recommend it. It has been life changing for me. If you would like more information please contact me, and I will put you in contact with Dr. Hardy's ministry.
Dr. Pamela Hardy of the Institute has let me know that upon my graduation, I will be appointed as the Tennessee Representative of EITI for all new 'Eagle' students entering the Institute in the state of Tennessee. This is very humbling for me, and I accept it as an honor to mentor and encourage upcoming ministers.
From Ohio, I will travel to New York, then to Pennsylvania, and Virginia to minister, and eventually returning to what I hope will be my finished home in early December. My time in Ohio will be short, but if you are in New York, Pennsylvania or Virginia, and would like me to come minister please contact me at missionvision@cfaith.com, or you may call me at 615-952-4162, and leave a voice mail message, and I will return your call as soon as possible.
Mission Planning
It is time to return to the nations. I have recently sent out letters to our pastoral contacts in the nations of Trinidad andGuyana. The purpose of the letters is to set up an itinerary for ministry in these nations, for early 2009. Ministry leaders have until October 31st to respond, at which time decisions will be made concerning the scheduling of the next foreign mission trip. If you are a ministry leader in these two nations, andyou want me to come you must respondaccordingly. This helps me to know the length of time I need to plan to be in your nations. If you, as a ministry leader would like me to come, and you are receiving this email, but you have not received a letter via regular postal mail, please contact me at missionvision@cfaith.com and let me know your interest so we can fit you into the schedule.
I want to say thank you once again to those who support, encourage and pray for this ministry and for me personally. Your prayers and support are greatly needed and appreciated. May the blessings andpresence of the Lord rest upon each of you, as you seek to serve our Lord with all your heart, soul, mind andstrength.
Gifts given to Redemption Ministries International are tax-deductible. Your support is much needed and greatly appreciated. We will send you a receipt for your giving. Thank you.

Mission Update August 29th, 2008
Look what the Lord has done!! I am writing this update to let you see how good the Lord has been. As always, I ask that you would please take the time to read the entire update. I know sometimes they are long, but what do you expect from a preacher? Long winded I may be, but when the wind of God's spirit is moving, we should all want to hear what he is doing. I have been hard put to find the time to update the website, as so much is happening, both in my personal life and the ministry. I am going to attempt to bring you up to date, via this missions update.
As mentioned in our previous website update which may be found below, I am in a time of tremendous transition. Change is never easy, but it is an integral part of life. As was shared before I have sold my home. After weeks of packing, moving, exhaustion, soar muscles, and the task of obtaining the permits to start building, ground has finally been broken for the building of the new home. This will be my primary residence, and I believe a place of blessing for many people. The scripture says, in Psalms 127:1 Except the Lord build the house they labor in vain that build it... I thank God that this labor is not in vain. The blessing of the Lord is upon it. The completion date is November 24th, 2008. I have hired a General Contractor who is working very diligently with me to reach the desired goal. The home will be simple, but with great purpose. It will be a place where the Lord will be magnified, people will be encouraged, prayed for, and sent out to minister.
The scripture says in Proverbs 29:18- Where there is no vision the people perish..... Vision is a step by step process. Only when we begin to walk by faith in what the Lord is showing us, do we begin to see the next step in the process. The Word of God says in Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. As we take each step to fulfill the will and word of God for our lives, he gives more light for the next step.
Life is very full right now, as I am quickly approaching graduation from my first year of ministry training with the Eagles International Training Institute, which will take place in November. Also, I am preparing to write my next 2 books, which I hope to release the end of this year, titles of the books will be announce soon. Also, Ken's second CD, 'Father I Love You' is to be completed later this year as well. Jason, who is working on Ken's project is very excited about it, and we are looking forward to the release of it soon.
A few weeks ago, I returned from a month long ministry road trip. I was attending conferences (Ohio & New York) to help increase my ability to be a more effective Minster of the Gospel, as well as teaching in conference andchurch settings (New York & Virginia). I had the opportunity to minister in Georgia withPassion For Worship Ministries with Minister Sherida Lovelace at the GwinnettPerforming Arts Center in Duluth, Georgia, andan unexpected invitation to minister at the Liberty In Worship Church in Stone Mountain Georgia as well. I believe there is a definite, divine, connection by the Spirit of the Lord with Minister Sherida, andI expect there will be many times of ministry with her in the future.
The night of worship at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center was phenomenal. I had never been in that type of ministry setting before. The Lord brought in worshippers from all over the Nation to exalt and lift him up. Some of the Lord's very finest worship Ministers were being used of him mightily to proclaim his word of God in the movement of dance and mime. The Conference was done in the excellence of the Lord, and many hearts were touched and blessed. Worship begats worship. It is contagious. When a worshippers heart is right, others want to join in, andthis is what happened that night in Duluth GA. The Lord was truly exalted and glorified.
While in New York, I held the 'Free To Praise Him Conference,' at Grace Evangelistic Ministries in Queens, NY. Though attendance was small, God showed up in a big way and ministered to the hearts of those who attended. I believe the Lord planted a vision for deeper worship in the hearts of the people, and the fruit of that will come forth, as they walk in what they have learned. The focus of the conference was on the heart of the worshipper. If the heart is not right, the worship is not right. We focused on allowing the Lord to free us of the things that hinder us from having a passionate relationship with him, checking the motivation of our hearts and our works, andbeing sure we are walking in the ways of the Lord, as we should be. Living a clean life before the Lord is a requirement if we are to experience all the blessings of having a relationship with the Lord. It says in John 4:23- But the hour cometh and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit andin truth, for the Father seeketh such to worship him. To be a 'true' worshipper means that we do not seek to conceal things from the Lord (as if we could do that anyway). It indicates living a pure andhonest life before the Lord, as well as mankind.
Moving on from New York I traveled to Martinsville, VA. where I ministered at The Word Of Life Faith Center, teaching on reaching our destiny, and how the way to promotion only comes through humility and submission to the will of the Lord. This teaching deals with the life of Joseph, and the challenges he faced as God revealed the call of God upon his life. Joseph went from being hated and despised by his brothers, to slavery, to prison, to ruling the nation of Egypt and being used of God to say multitudes of people. This teaching is a real encouragement, and a reminder to us that no matter what we face, God has a plan and a purpose for our lives, if we will just continue to seek him regardless. I am seeing that the Lord is healing and strengthening many by the beauty of this precious story in scripture.
Special Ministry Needs:
The ministry has a pressing need in that the ministry van needs new tires, and a major tune up as it is approaching it's 90,000th mile. This van is packing on many miles in the work of the ministry. I will be making a lengthy ministry road trip in the fall that will be approximately 3400 miles in length. I want to have the van in excellent running order, and operating safely for that trip. Expected known cost for tires and tune up is approximately $800.00 USD.
Funds are needed to print the next 2 new ministry teaching books, and reprint copies of my first book, The Theology Of Dance. Estimated start up cost $800.00- $1,2000.00. The amount of $1,200.00 would allow for the printing of approximately 125 copies each of all 3 books. I would like to have this accomplished by early October, so I can take the books with me as I go to minister. All moneys from sales of the books are put back into the ministry to support the work of the Lord. I do not keep this money for myself, but rather use it to spread the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to the Nations.
Prayer- please pray for all upcoming ministry opportunities, safe travel, heavenly insight and wisdom from the Lord in all things pertaining to the ministry, my personal life and the construction of the new home.
Missions- Wisdom, proper timing and finances for the upcoming ministry trip to Trinidad & Tobago, & Guyana. More details to follow, as plans are solidified.
New doors of ministry opening- Concerning all missions trips, request are coming both domestic and foreign. I am receiving many requests to minister within the USA as well as in nations, such as India, Pakistan, various nations in Africa, Venezuela, El Salvador, Guatemala, Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana, and the Philippines. To date these request are either very slow in being fulfilled or cannot be granted. Such invitations can only be fulfilled as the Lord raises up the funds, to go. There are some places where it is necessary to take a team of people, and again, this can only happen as the Lord provides. I am of the persuasion that every believer needs to either go to the mission field, or send someone to the mission field. If you want to get really bold do both, go and send! Concerning missions the scripture says in Romans 10:14-15 How than shall they call on him (Jesus), in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him, in whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them, that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things. Therefore, because I know God has called me into the work of the ministry and to the nations, I can boldly say that my 'feet are beautiful.' I will preach the word of God, and I am willing to go, but I must be sent. Goers and senders must work together to get the task accomplished. Won't you ask the Lord if he would have you to be a part of sending forth the gospel message in the earth through this ministry? After you ask, listen and obey. Anytime the Lord tells you to sow a seed, he has your harvest in mind. When we give to the Lord, we lose nothing, and we gain eternal rewards.
Upcoming events:
My oldest son, Jeremiah will be marrying the joy of his heart, my future daughter in law, Candice in October. Candice is very dear to me, and I am glad to receive her into our family.
I will be graduating from EITI in November, and will be graduating as a licensed Minister of Worship Dance through Set Free Evangelistic Ministries. It has been a challenging and life changing year for me. As I go forth and teach what the Lord has given me, it will affect the nations of the earth, and the Kingdom of God forever.
Plans to minister in New York, Pennsylvania, & Virginia in the month of November, watch itinerary for updates.
The continuing building process and move into the new home. Praise the Lord!!
Planning a missions trip to Trinidad and Guyana for early 2009.

Mission Update July 1, 2008
Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for his mercy endureth forever. This is a milestone update, please take the time to read it in it's fullness. On July 24th, after almost a year, of Linda's home being on the market for sale, it finally sold. Believing the Lord was directing her to make this challenging step of faith, Linda is moving forward in the work of the ministry. This is a step up to the next level, of where she believes the Lord is taking her, in her calling of service to him. There is great joy and anticipation as to what the Lord is doing, and for the journey ahead.
In a real estate market that took such a drastic down turn, the Lord still had a buyer. Because the home was what was termed a 'unique property', which just means, it's harder to sell because it is not build as most homes would be, as far as the floor plan, and construction style, Linda knew the Lord would have to send a special buyer.
A couple of months ago, while Linda was considering taking the house off the market for a period of time, until she finished her ministry schooling, the Lord spoke to her that he had some surprizes for her. Two weeks later the Lord sent Jason Kyle Saetveit to look at the home. Two days later he returned to look at the home again, and within a week he placed a legal contract to buy the home andproperty. This was the first surprise. The second surprise was soon to follow.
Within the negotiations for the home, Jason made an offer to Linda, that if she could come down a little in her price, he would in exchange, professionally produce her late husbands final music CD, entitled 'Father I Love You,' free of charge. Jason is an award winning producer in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
Linda had wanted to have this project done immediately after Ken's death, but due to circumstances was not able to. The Lord had not forgotten her, or Ken's work. What seemed to be lost forever, has been redeemed. Jason is even now working on the project, as this update is being written. He is very excited about it, and says the original basic recording was very good. Jason will complete the project and RMI will be making it available as soon as it is finished.
The next question is where will Linda live? Just to show you how God works, and how wonderful his mercy is, we want to share with you the plan of execution over the next few months. Linda owned property near to the home she just sold. The monies received from the sale of her former home and property, will be reinvested into building a home on the other property. This will be her primary residence, however, it will also be a place of ministry.
Before Ken passed away, he and Linda had been praying about building another home, that would be more accommodating to the work of the ministry. A place where people could come, and be ministered to, and where prayer, praise and the teaching of the word of God could flow forth. This is the goal, and plan for the new home.
Because of Linda's busy ministry schedule, in the month of July, to move during this time was almost impossible to wrap one's mind around. The Lord moved on Jason's heart to give her a very gracious time frame to vacate the property, and he has allowed her to remain in the home, rent free, until late August, thus freeing her to keep her commitments without the pressure of having to relocate immediately at the time of the final sale. This is a tremendous blessing. Ground for the new home will be broken as soon as the building bids are in, and a builder is chosen.
In the meantime, Doug & Mary Turnbull, who are a vital part of this ministry, have generously opened up their home to Linda, andshe will be staying with them during the building of the new house. Thank God for good friends, willing to help in time of need.
Also as mentioned in a previous update, Linda has published her first book, entitled 'The Theology Of Dance, (A Study In The Old & New Testament)' which is now available for purchase in the USA. This book may be obtained upon request from this ministry, for an offering of $12.00 (US funds only) plus $3.00 for shipping and handling. The book has only been available for 2 weeks and is already getting some great feedback, from ministry leaders. This book gives the biblical basis and indepthstudy for the expression of the dance being used in the worship of the Lord. It will be a blessing to all those who are interested in this topic, or to those who maybe do not quite understand the concept of dance in the church. It will guide you through the scripture, opening your understanding of this liberating expression of praise and worship. This is a also a great teaching resource for Christian worship dance teams, and their leaders. Feel free to order your copy or copies today. For copies of 10 or more to the same address, please contact the ministry for reduced shipping & handling costs.
Linda is being sent forth by the Lord, andwith the anointing, covering and blessing of the leadership of her home church, as she travels to Ohio, New York and Georgia, teaching & ministering in various places over the next several weeks. You may click on the itinerary page of this website for more information. Please pray that hearts will be changed, souls will be saved and delivered, that the kingdom of God will be built up, and that the Lord will receive great glory as the ministry goes forth.
We want to remind you that all financial gifts given to Redemption Ministries International are tax-deductible, and are very much appreciated. We understand that times are hard for many people, and the ministry has severely felt the financial crunch as well. There is an immediate need for supporters to come forward, and again lift us up with their prayers and financial support at this time. God will bring forth his ministry, but we believe in giving people an opportunity to sow seed into the work of the Lord. This ministry is good ground. May we work together to bring in the harvest of souls, to the Kingdom of God, and to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. Our mailing address will remain the same at:
Redemption Ministries International P.O. Box 245, Pegram, Tennessee 37143
May God's blessing rest upon you all.
Mission Update June 17th, 2008
Life has been very busy the last couple of months. The Lord is opening doors of opportunity to minister, both in teaching the precious word of God, and in demonstration of the word of God through the dance worship ministry.
Linda will be ministering at 'The Free To Praise Him Worship Conference' which will take place July 17th-19th, 2008 at Grace Evangelistic Ministries, located at 95-16 101st. Ave. in Queens, New York. The focus will be on freeing the heart of the worshipper to truly come into a place of intimacy and worshipful praise with the Lord.
For more information you may contact us directly through this website's 'contact us' page. Registration is required for this conference. Fees are $50.00 per person before June 30th. Registrations between July 1st and 11th will be $65.00. At the door registrations will be $70.00 per person. Please register early, as this helps us know how may folders need to be created for those attending. Registration will be limited to the first 50 people. This promises to be a learning experience for all present.
Linda would like to share that she about to release her first biblically based teaching book entitled, 'The Theology Of Dance (A Study In The Old & New Testament). This book is the firstfruits of her ministry studies with the Eagles International Training Institute. Dr. Pamela Hardy who is over the school, has really encouraged Linda to publish what she has been studying and writing, so Linda has taken this advice to heart.
The thrust of the book is to show the biblical basis for worship dance or dance like movements, being used in the Church to honor the Lord. In the study, the reader will be taken to the original Hebrew or Greek word meanings, pertaining to the topic, so as to get a clear understanding of what the scripture is truly saying. When we understand, through the word of God, that the Lord wants us to be free, expressive and joyful in our praise and worship, it will revolutionize our exaltation of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord inhabits the true praises of his people. As we create an atmosphere that invites his presence, all that he is, becomes available to us.
The books are available for a donation of $12.00 (US Funds) or more plus $3.00 shipping and handling, for orders within the USA. For multiple books, in one order, please call (615)-952-4162, for shipping rates. Redemption Ministries International P.O. Box 245, Pegram, Tennessee 37143
Please be sure to write #TOD in the memo line of your check or money order. This will identify the product you desire.
June 11th, Linda ministered at the Murfreesboro Community Fellowship in worship dance. The precious people attending services in this church, were in their 16th consecutive day of revival meetings, and God was really moving in their midst. People were being healed, set free anddelivered. The Spirit of God was changing lives, as people submitted themselves to the power of the Lord. They intend to resume meetings soon. If you would like more information please contact Pastor Arthur Lewis at 615-849-3929 or 615-556-1844. The church is located at 720 Old Salem Road in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
June 14th Linda ministered at the Women's Aglow Chapter in Dickson Tennessee. She taught from the scriptures in Isaiah 61, and shared her testimony of how good the Lord has been to her since the passing of her husband, Ken. She shared on the fact that the Lord wants to make an exchange with us. As we submit our lives to him, he wants to give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. He has called every single person for a purpose, but we must let him have all that we are, so that he can give us all that he is. Only then can we come into our full calling and purpose in life. The Lord ministered deeply to the hearts of those who were present.
Linda has also been very busy preparing andworking with the young people at the Word Of Life Tabernacle Church in Dickson Tennessee. Pastor Cecilia Grimsley is graciously giving her opportunity to put into practice what Linda in learning through her current involvement, andtraining with the Eagles International Training Institute, which is a ministry school based in Plano, Texas.

Mission Update, April 10-21, 2008
Linda Conrey ministered at Lakeside Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida, teaching the adults on the life of Joseph. The thrust of the message was to encourage them through the Word of God, that regardless of what happens in life, God has a plan, and he is working all things together, not only for our good, but for the good of those he has also called us to serve and minister to. The way to promotion is through humility.
Joseph went from the loving care of his father, to being thrown into a pit by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused by an adulterous woman, wrongfully thrown into prison, and then called to the palace of Pharaoh. Each trial was actually a promotion in disguise. He was then promoted to the position of the second ruler in Egypt, and saved the nations from starvation. God had a plan. His brothers meant to destroy him, but all they did was set motion to the plan to God in Joseph's life. In the end Joseph saved multitudes, including the very brothers that tried to destroy him, from a death of starvation. God always has a plan!!
Linda was also asked to minister to the children about missions. This took place in the Awana Club class, also at Lakeside, Baptist. When the class was all over, a little boy about five years old came up and sweetly whispered in her ear..."Jesus was beaten... they whipped him...and they hung him on a cross...they put nails in his hands...he died for our sins..." This so touched Linda's heart because of sweetness and innocence of his words. This little boy got the message loud andclear about what Jesus has done for us. Out of the mouth of babes comes perfected praise.
Linda also shared informally at Harvest Assembly of God. She spoke to the missionettes about foriegn missions, and the high school girls about having a godly attitude, and the importance of servant hood in our daily lives as well as in ministry.
There is a return trip to Lakeside Baptist in the making. Details will be forth coming to this update page, as soon as possible.
MISSION UPDATE, MARCH 12-27, 2008
Linda Conreyministered in the Queens, New York Area at Grace Evangelistic Ministries, both in the worship dance, and Biblical teaching.
There will be a Worship Dance Conference scheduled for July 17th-19th, 2008, at Grace Evangelistic Ministries. For further details you may contact Linda at missionvision@cfaith.com.
MISSION UPDATE, MARCH 1-11, 2008 Ministering in Israel.
Eleven days in Israel has come to a close, and what a trip it was. I traveled with a team of 24 believers, and worship dancers to the land of Israel, the land where God has chosen to place his name. God blessed us with one of the most excellent guides in the land of Israel. Solomon took us north, south, east and west, with the assistance of our bus driver Aaron. How appropriate that the Lord would give us 2 men, one being named after King Solomon, and the other after the first High Priest, Aaron. Jesus is our King and our High Priest. God has called all believers to be kings and priests in his kingdom. We are believing for the salvation of these two wonderful men who were so gracious to us on this tour. Both of them were such a blessing to our team, as we traveled from site to site within the nation of Israel, learning the history and spiritual heritage of the land in a hands on manner.
We visited the Dead Sea, the site of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, Mt. Hermon, Cesarea Philippi, the wall of Abrahams' Gate, Tel Dan, the Jordan River, Mt. Arbel, where we leaped upon the mountains. We also visisted Cana of Galilee, and the Roman Theater in Ceserea. We visited the Holocaust Museum, Yad Vashem, the Mt. of Olives, the old city of Jerusalem, the Upper Room, Mt. Scopus, the Mt. of the Beatitudes, the Hosanna Road, Golgotha where Jesus was crucified, Mt. Carmel, Gethsemine, the Prominade, the different gates around the wall of Jerusalem, the Christian quarter, the Cardo, the Bible Lands Museum, the Kenessett, Mt. Zion, the Western Wall, a ministry assisting Sudanese refugees, and many other places.
We had the pleasure of seeing Israel, as it truly is. It's people, it's culture, it's sorrows, it's splendor, it's wonders. But even more importantly, we saw the heart of a nation. A Jewish, peace loving nation, who at the core of it's being, desires to love and serve God. The old traditional ways are still very visible in this modern day. Though so many nations in the world have turned their backs on Israel, Israel is a nation that has the heart of God turned toward them. Our team of 24, plus guides, traveled from place to place, proclaiming the prophetic word over this nation of Israel. All that God has promised will come to pass.
Worship dance originated withthe people of Israel, with Miriam, after God destroyed Pharoahs army in the Red Sea, as she took up the timbrel, and led the maidens out in a victory dance. Dance is a powerful medium to express the works and word of God. Prayerful intercessions and prophetic movements went up to the Lord, on behalf of the nation, as our team danced out the messianic message of redemption in the mountain tops, streets and public places of Israel. At times people would gather around and watch. Some would comment how they could literally feel the atmosphere change, as the presence of the Lord would begin to manifest as worship went forth from the hearts of the believers. One Orthodox Jewish man after seeing our worship, said he would rather see us in the land, than than those Israeli's who would seek to give away the land of Israel. His heart had been touched, because we had not been scared away during the terrorist attack on the Torah School that was very close to the area we were staying. He saw we loved Israel, and this spoke to his heart.
God commands us in his word to 'pray for the peace of Jerusalem, for they shall prosper that love thee.' God's hand of blesssing is on this people where our spiritual roots of Christianity sprung forth out of the 'Root of Jesse,' Jesus Christ the Righteous, anointed King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. I personally do not believe that one can be a true Christian without having a love for the place where our spiritual heritage began, in the Land of Israel, and for the Jewish people, as this is the lineage that the Father in Heaven, chose to bring forth the Messiah of all the earth. Jesus was, and is, the word of God made flesh, born of a virgin, who became the final atoning sacrifice, shedding his blood to bring redemption, and forgiveness of sin, to all who would believe in his word, death, burial and resurection. God is moving in the landof Israel, where he has chosen to place is name. May we standwith him, andwith the nation of Israel, as history is being made, and prophetic promises are being fulfilled. God is faithful.
MISSION UPDATE, JANUARY 8, 2008,
This update is a bit lengthy, but I would encourage you to find the time to read it. The Lord moves very powerfully in our lives if we allow him to do so. Such is the case with me, and I want to share with you, how good the Lord has been to me.
My next international ministry trip is to the Nation of Israel March 1-11th. I will be traveling with some of the students and leadership from the Eagles International Training Institute. This promises to be a life changing experience. We will be ministering in Jerusalem. Please pray for safety, divine direciton, provision and protection for all involved. If you would like to help support this upcoming ministry trip, it would be much appreciated. You may send your gifts to
Redemption Ministries International P.O. Box 245 Pegram,TN. 37143
All Gifts given to RMI are tax-Deductibles.
There is so much to tell you, since our last update. As in the previous update, I had mentioned a stateside trip that was coming up. This turned out to be a 7 week, life changing experience for me. I have not been able to communicate while I was on the road, as I was having problems with email and unable to send out bulk communications. Thankfully that problem has now been resolved.
I have started my ministry training with The Eagles International Training Institute. This proving to be a challenge that I have longed for. I am going deeply into the word of God to study out the topics of my assignments. At the time of this writing, I have completed my assignments on The Theology of Dance in the New Testament, and The Theology of Dance in the Old Testament. I'm currently studying on Biblical Forms Of Worship in the month of January. The word of God is so rich and wonderful. I thank the Lord for this opportunity to increase my understanding in his word.
October 15, 2007 I left my home with a great expectancy to see the Lord move in the hearts of his people. One thing I was concerned about with this trip was the fact that I was going to be driving about 3200 miles by myself. Most destinations were about 500 miles apart, and I was not accustomed to driving such long periods of time. However, God will anoint us for whatever we are called to do, and I actually experienced his anointing to be able to drive the long distances, and stay alert, bringing me to each destination safely.
I spent approximately two and a half weeks in Martinsville, Virginia, ministering to the saints about worship, andlearning to flow with the changes the Lord desires to bring into our lives. It just so happened that this congregation was in the middle of having to make some major changes, and while I was there I saw the Lord move so sweetly in their midst, as they yielded to what the Lord wanted to do, and allowed him to bring the needed changes to their ministry.
While in Martinsville, Pastor John Heiss and his wife Mary Anne, of Wellspring Fellowship, invited me to travel with them to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for a prophetic prayer conference with a ministry called Fresh Wind. Financially, I was in a very difficult place. However, I have learned over the years, that if the Lord directs me to go somewhere, as I am faithful to do so, he will provide in the going.
Three days before we were to travel, Mary Anne called me and said, “Linda, we are going to take care of all your expenses.” Praise the Lord!! They did not know the full extent of my financial situation, but the Lord did, and he made the way, where there seemed to be no way.
Fresh Wind In Pennsylvania
As prophetic conferences go, there was a lot of liberty, at Fresh Wind for all who participated. A few of the leaders had approached me once they knew I was a worship dancer, and let me know that I had complete liberty to dance, or share however the Lord would lead me to. There came a point in the conference where I knew the Lord was leading me to dance and spin across the front of the assembly. As I did the praise level of the worship went substantially higher in the congregation. I had not experienced this before, but I soon learned, that in the spirit, the Lord was undoing and releasing things. When our worship is led by the Holy Spirit, he will use us to set the captives free, even if those captives are ourselves. I would experience a personal demonstration of this in Ohio.
Columbus Ohio Eagles Summit Leadership Conference
This conference was the official beginning , of the twelve month training program for the Eagles International Training Institute, of which I am currently enrolled.
Divine Direction
Thursday, November 1, 2007, I arrived at the conference filled with excitement. Things get quite lively in the company of those who love to worship God with all their heart.
The purpose of this conference was for us to;
lay aside the old,
take up the new,
shift,
get into position,
bring to the birth the ministry God has placed within us,
launch out into the fullness of our destiny.
Obedience brings the blessing. We need to allow the Lord to have his way with us, even if we don’t fully understand what is happening.
What I am about to share is extremely personal, and I know there are those who will not understand, but when someone has a personal encounter with the Lord, change happens, and they are never the same. Such is the case with me.
During one of the afternoon sessions, the leadership of the conference gave us an assignment. When we returned for the evening session, we were to wear a new dance garment, under an old garment. We were going to symbolically take off the old and lay it aside, that the ‘new’ can come forth. They shared with us from 1 Kings 19:19-21, the story of Elijah and Elisha. Elijah found and passed by Elisha, and cast his mantle upon him. When this happened Elisha left everything and followed Elijah, and ministered unto him. After years of serving Elijah, his anointing is passed to Elisha in a double portion. (2 Kings 2:9-15) For this to happen in Elisha’s life he had to be willing to step out and make some major changes. He had to leave the old way of life to come into the new. There was a price to pay for the anointing. Elisha had 12 yoke of oxen, this speaks of a man of means. He was a wealthy farmer, and yet he left all for the call to ministry.
So the question is, ‘Are we willing to leave the familiar when God calls, and pursue his plan for our lives?’ Are we willing to pay the price to move in the anointing? So the leaders had given us our assignment. I did not understand, the tremendous emotion struggle I was about to experience in the course of laying aside the old.
Mourning, Death & Burial
I went to my motel room and carefully prepared for the evening session, wearing my favorite royal purple garment. This was a special garment because I had bought the fabric in Trinidad and a friend who lives in Trinidad had sown it for me. Also it was one of those garments that traveled so well. It rarely wrinkled or needed ironing. I loved my purple garment. I returned a little early to the evening conference joyfully expecting great things from the Lord.
As I entered the main conference room, one of the sisters there asked me if I was going to give away that beautiful purple garment? I said “Oh no, I’m just going to use it for the demonstration, but I am going to take it back to my motel room.” She said, “Oh no, you have to leave it here, you are to leave the old behind.” I had not understood this, and now a battle was ensuing on the inside of me.
Another sister saw my dilemma, and said, “Linda, don’t worry, I have an old T-shirt up in my room. I’ll go get it and you can discard it if you like, and you can keep your purple garment” Well that sounded like a good way of escape to me and so I said, “Yes, I would like to do that.” A few minutes later, she had retunedwith her T-shirt.
I took off my purple garment, and put the T-shirt on over my new garment and thought all was well. I did not even have time to release the T-shirt after pulling it on, when the Lord spoke to me and said, “Your are trying to give away somebody else’s old! I cannot give you my new, unless you give you your old!” Immediately a flood of grief and sorrow washed over me. I could not understand what was happening. I knew this garment was just fabric, but I loved it, and I did not understand why I had to give it up. The grief and sorrow seemed to be far more intense that what would be in line with giving up a garment. So I knew the Lord was after something else, and I believe I may have been feeling what he felt, if I were not willing to give up my old to receive his new. It was a supernatural mourning and grief.
After about 20 minutes of struggle the Lord spoke to me and said, “Let’s look at this garment. Look at the pants, they are scarred.” Two years ago, I had accidentally overheated an iron, and when I touched the pants with it, a scorch mark in the shape of the iron was left on the pants. No one else would ever see it, so I did not worry about it, and just wore them anyway. Then the Lord said, “There are little snags, in the skirt.” Most people would not have noticed the little snags. These imperfections had happened in the line of ministry in jungle villages, and rough places, and were only noticeable on close examination. Then the Lord said, “Look at the waistband, it is stretched out. This garment no longer fits you properly.” True, over the years the waist had stretched out a little, and I had lost some weight. If I happened to be doing a dance that had a lot of jumping in it, or if my toe caught in the hem, the shirt would slide down a little bit. When the Lord said, “…this garment no longer fits you.” I began to see where he was going with the whole issue. At this point, I took off the old T-shirt and put my purple garments back on. Their doom was sealed.
Since my husband's passing in 2006, everything in my life was changing. The Lord was wanting to take me in new directions. He was already speaking to me about changes in the ministry and my personal life.
These garments represented all that was familiar and comfortable to me, and yet it also represented little areas of imperfections in my life, that were acceptable in the past, but for where the Lord wanted to take me now, they no longer fit. The scars, and snags in life that I had been willing to put up with before, the Lord now wanted to remove them from me. He wanted my old, so he could give me his new. I was beginning to understand, but the grief I was feeling was so strong. It was the same degree of sorrow that happened when Ken passed away. I felt like something inside of me was literally dying. Before that Conference was over , I would come to understand, in an up front personal way, that death is the only way to life.
As the exercise began, I held back still trying to understand the depth of emotion that was wrapped around this situation. The order of the procession was to be, that we cast our garments into a pile to the right side of the raised stage platform. Then we were to go up the steps of the stage, and walk across it, rejoicing, then down into an erected wedding canopy.
The significance of it all was to demonstrate, our willingness to lay down the old (casting our garments into the pile of things we needed to leave behind), then stepping up to the next level in the Lord (going up onto the stage), rejoicing (that God was delivering us, and leading us to a higher level of intimacy with him), then descending the stage into the wedding canopy (as we come into that intimate, loving, submissive covenant relationship with the Lord, where we give him all we have and are, and he does the same).
Reluctantly I began to move toward the pile. It may as well have been a burial ground. I was in a room with hundreds of worship dancers who were rejoicing, and I was mourning. The contrast was unbelievable. As others danced, I cried. As others shouted, I have no words. As the procession moved forward, I began to take off the lovely old purple garments, and carried them in my arms like a baby. It was as if they were alive, and yet about to die.
These garments represented every thing that my life had been up to this point. As I approached the pile, others passed me by and joyfully cast away their garments. I stood at the pile and watched. Was I the only one feeling this degree of pain? Eventually I knelt down, and tenderly, lovingly placed the garments, as if they were a tiny child on to the pile. Almost immediately, a multitude of garments were cast on to the pile, and my garments were completely buried, unseen, as if they never existed. In my mind, I was screaming out to those around me, “You have buried it alive!” I was not exactly sure all that ‘it’ was, but it was buried none the less. A death had taken place.
As I came to the steps of the stage Sister Pamela and her husband Pastor Christopher met me. Each took one of my hands and helped me up the steps to the next level. I walked across the stage. I did not dance as the others, I could not. As I descended the stage to the wedding canopy, I was supposed to pass through rejoicing, in my new life with my bridegroom, Jesus. I could not. Instead, I stood in a corner of the canopy, and cried. I did not feel like a bride, and I felt no joy of my covenant. Grief, sorrow and mourning had consumed me. I watched as others passed through the canopy.
There was a second room in the canopy entitled, the Holy Place. Many were worshipping in that portion of the structure. When they moved on, I went in. I fell to my knees, my face in the floor, and cried out to the Lord, “I do not know what you are after Lord, but I feel like my very guts are being ripped out of me, so please just take whatever it is, I give everything to you, have your way Lord.
While on my knees, I began to hear words, like whispery thoughts going through my mind, which were causing more turmoil. My thoughts went back to the teaching of Elijah and Elisha, and how Elisha had positioned himself under the ministry training and guidance of Elijah. He left all to fulfill his call. The questions started flowing into my mind, 'Would the Lord require me to relocate? To completely uproot, and start all over some place else new?' I already have my home for sale on the market, but had intended to rebuild close by. Were my plans about to shift again? Would there be another unexpected major change in my life, that the Lord would use to direct me to the destiny he has for me? Time will tell.
I am learning we need to have inspired vision from the Lord. We also need to move toward that vision. However, we need to hold the reigns of that vision loosely, so if the Lord wants to make an adjustment, or change our direction he is free to do so.
Also while I was on my knees, I felt the Lord was speaking to me about making myself available to travel more, both at home and abroad. That’s a real stretch of faith. International travel especially is very costly. Again, how much are we willing to give up, to have the opportunities to flow in, and experience an increase of God’s anointing in our lives?
As all these thoughts were passing through my mind, I realized I had to release very thing to the Lord, every hope, every dream, every desire, everything I did and did not want to do, my possessions, my home, my security, my comfort zones, everything! It all had to die, right there in the Holy Place before the Lord. As I surrendered, I cried uncontrollably. I remained in his presence until there were no more tears, and no more strength. Figuratively speaking, I died in Columbus, Ohio that night.
Oil Of Joy For Mourning
The next morning as I looked in the mirror my eyes were red and swollen, and my head was pounding, from all that had happened the night before. Slowly I prepared to return to the conference. As I was looking in the mirror, I heard the Lord speak to me and say, “Oil of Joy for mourning (Isaiah 61:3).” I said, “Lord, I need your oil of joy for mourning.” With that established I prepared and went to the conference.
As the session opened up Sister Pamela, was sharing that she had found a T-shirt in the pile of discarded garments the night before, that had many pieces of paper pinned to it. Each piece of paper represented things the owner wanted to Lord to take from her life. Pamela asked this sister to come to the front, as she had a gift she wanted to give to her. It turned out that the lady had already left the conference. Sister Pamela was disappointed, and said that the gift she wanted to give to the lady was a bottle of anointing oil. The title of the oil was, Sorrows turned to Laughter. When I heard that , I raised my hand, stood to my feet and made my way to the front platform where Sister Pamela was standing. As she saw me coming towards her she said, “Well, I was just going to say, whosoever will come and receive.” As I stood in front of Sister Pamela, I told her what the Lord had spoken to me, as I stood in front of the mirror, and she said, “Well then it’s your oil.” God had provided again. I went back to my seat, anointed my head, hands and feet, and asked the Lord to give me his joy, and take away my mourning.
Mount Up With Wings As Eagles
By the next conference session I was beginning to feel a little better, the headache was finally gone, and I did not feel the extreme sorrow, I had the previous night. I knew I was coming up out of the darkness.
The night before one of the vendors had given Sister Pamela, a lovely silk overlay royal purple in color, with a golden eagle on the back. It was made to be wore like a shawl. During this next session, Pamela put on her eagle overlay, and began to dance and ‘soar’ with arms outstretched. She was in the front of the assembly. I was in the back of the assembly worshipping with flags. Sister Pamela began to ‘fly’ down the side aisle, eagle wings spread. When she reached that back of the ballroom, she turned right and was heading my direction. Somehow I knew she was coming for me. As she approached, she said, “Linda put the flags down, and come with me.” I dropped the flags to the floor, and as Pamela took my hand, the Lord said to me, “It is no mistake that Pamela has taken your hand, now soar!” I spread my arms out, even as she, and together we soared through the ballroom. Two eagles flying together on the wind of the Spirit of God. We flew to the front of the ballroom, across the front of the assembly, then we twirled arm in arm a couple of times, and she turned me lose.
When Sister Pamela turned me lose, I spun multiple times across the front of the ballroom, hands raised in praise position. As I did so the praise level in the assembly went up higher, just like it did in Pennsylvania. Still spinning I changed my direction, andwent back across the front of the assembly a second time. All of a sudden something happened. I literally felt things flying off of me. They were shooting off of me very forcefully through the atmosphere in the spiritual realm. It happened in an instant, and I broke into a strong dance of freedom and release. Bondages had been broken, the sorrow, mourning, sadness, pain, death, darkness, all of it was gone! It happened while I was spinning and worshipping the Lord in the dance.
Pastor Christopher Hardy ministered to me later that same day. He told me that when I began to spin across the front of the assembly, that he saw into the spiritual realm, and he saw things just shooting off of me into the air, bondages, things the enemy had tried to construct to keep me from moving forward in my calling, they all came flying off, and hit the floor, and they were not leaving that conference with me. I was free to walk in my God given calling. This word was a confirmation of what I had felt during my dance of deliverance.
While in Ohio, the Lord took me through a death , burial and resurrection. The deathtook place with the representation of the purple garment, and my surrender in that Holy Place before the Lord. The burial was represented by the sudden covering of the purple garment. Also the anointing oil represented the burial as well. (We can see the pattern for that in John 12:3-7, andMark 14:8, when Mary anointed Jesus feet with spikenard for his burial.) The resurrection took place as Pamela andI mounted up with wings as eagles, and soared into the heavenly places in the dance, and in the Lord’s presence all bondages were broken, and freedom came. According to Isaiah 61:3 the Lord had made an exchange and given me a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Death of the old has brought forth the life of the new.
Queens New York November 12-30, 2007
For the first time ever, I drove in the streets of New York City. It was not a comforting experience. I'm thankful for the Lord's protection that he has placed over me. New Yorkers do not drive the way Tennesseans do, and it was a real challenge. Pastor Dave Rajoon says I should get a Certificate of Achievement for making it through the city in one piece.
My time in New York was truly a blessing and ordained of the Lord. Pastor Dave Rajoon of Grace Evangelistic Ministry was my hosting pastor. I have always felt so welcomed by him, his family, and his congregation, and it is an absolute joy to be with them.
The Lord had surprises for me in NY that I could never have imagined. The new work the Lord has started in my life in Ohio, was about to begin springing forth in other areas. Not only did I have opportuity to share with 3 different churches while in NY, but the Lord has opened a whole new realm of ministry opportunities.
Redemption Ministries International & Grace Evangelistic Ministies (GEM),have come together in the work of the Lord. To learn more about Grace...Click on the Affiliate Ministires page of this website, then click on the Grace Evangelistic Ministries link, and it will take you to their website.
The Lord has shown Pastor Dave and I that this ministry relationship is a covenant relationship that the Lord has designed with strategic purposes in mind for ministry outreach. The Lord has also let me know that somehow my destiny is tied up in this alliance. The fullness of that destiny is still a mystery, but I know the Lord will bring it to pass.
Pastor Dave has freely opened his church to me, anytime I want to come minister in NY. We are currently planning conferences for the month of July. The topics will revolve around worship, the dance ministry, living a sanctified life, and whatever else the Lord cares to share. Updates of this conference will be sent out as they are solidified.
While in NY we did a mini one night conference on 'An Introduction To The Worship Dance Ministry.' Worshippers from another church attended as well. For many of them, some of the things shared were new, and challenging. For some of those who attended, I believe the Lord is about to take them some places they have never been before in worship. We are looking forward to the July Conference.
Also, I had opportunity to minister twice to the ladies group at Grace. God really opened some hearts, and encouraged the ladies to let him bring changes into their lives. There were 8 women who came forward for prayer, and wanted to allow the Lord to work his plan in their lives, laying down the old and taking up his new. It's interesting that there were 8 ladies. In scripture 8 is the number of new beginnings!
I will be returning to NY briefly in February, and then again in part of March to focus on what the Lord desires to do, and to strengthen relationships with the saints in that area.
From NY I traveled to Pennsylvania, andmet with Pastor Rob Garrett. He is senior Pastor of Praise Fellowship Church in Downingtown, PA. I had opportunity to minister in both of his churches. The Spirit of the Lord ministered to the people, through the dance, and a portion of my testimony. I had danced to a song entitled, "We Need The River". This song and ministry in dance, really touched Pastor Rob, in a special way, thus changing the order of the entire service. Pastor Rob could not share the message he had intended to share, but rather began to speak on what it truly means to have the 'river of God' flowing in our lives. Before it was all over, many in the congregation has given testimony, of what God was doing in their lives. It was a beautiful time of body ministry. God is so good. I am scheduled to return to Downingtown, PA. and Pastor Garrett's congregation in November of this year.
Also the Lord is taking me into a new area of ministry, as I will be starting to write books. In the back of my mind I had always thought, well, someday I will write of my adventures in the Lord, but now the Lord is speaking and confirming that I am to start writing. I hope to have some of my teachings, and a book entitled Beauty for Ashes published this year.
Some of what has been shared with you in this update has been taken from the current manuscript of 'Beauty for Ashes' which I am in the process of writing. The theme of this book will begin with the time of my husbands' passing, and will demonstrate how the Lord can take a very difficult situation and turn it around for his glory, and our blessing. I say 'our' blessing, because what the Lord has given me is not just my testimony, but through his goodness to me, others can receive encouragement and hope in their difficult times as well.
Because this is a work in progress, I'm not sure at what point, I will conclude the story, but regardless, it will be a living testimony of how great our God is. He has promised to give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mournng, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness according to Isaiah 61, and I am seeing him do this in my life.
God bless each and every one of you in Jesus Name. A special thanks to all those who contribute to this work of the Lord. May he bless you abundantly in return.

MISSION UPDATE JULY 29, 2007 Ministry Expansion
We are pleased to announce that the ministry has expanded, as we add 4 new ministers to our ranks.
Pastors Len & Nelda Parsons of the Murfreesboro, Tennessee area, and Doug & Mary Turnbullof Charlotte Tennessee, have been ordained as ministers of the gospel with Redemption Ministries International.
These leaders have been moving in ministry positions for many years, and are definitely called and ordained of the Lord. Seeing that they have a call upon their lives, they have now been ordained and become affiliated with this ministry. We rejoice in what the Lord is doing, as he is raising up different giftings and abilities to work together for the purposes of the Kingdom of God.
Pastors Len & Nelda Parsons are equipping the saints at The Freedom Center, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, andhave begun a second church work, The Oasis, in the Shelbyville, Tennessee area.
God has seen their faithfulness, persistence and diligence, in the calling he has placed on their lives, and has entrusted them to a greater measure of heavenly treasure, by allowing them to minister into the lives of people who are hungry for the Lord.
Len and Nelda have been a tremendous blessing and strength to this ministry, as they have served in an advisory position, and given wise counsel in assisting the direction of this ministry. We are glad to have them on board.
Doug and Mary Turnbullhave been an enormous encouragement as well for many years. Each having their own special gifts, they have enriched this ministry with their love, prayer intercession, counsel and friendship. Doug also serves as the Vice President of RMI, while his wife Mary is a worship leader, sings, plays the guitar, and teaches school.
Doug & Mary have a vision of establishing a Christian Camp, Resurrection L.I.F.E. (Love Is Forever Established), in the Charlotte, Tennessee area. We appreciate your prayers as this is in the beginning stages.
Rejoice with us as we move forward in the work of the Lord together.
MISSION UPDATE JULY 5-8, 2007, Exaltation Ohio
Traveling with a team of 4 ladies, from Tennessee to the Columbus Ohio area, we made our way to the Exaltation Ohio Conference, where we enjoyed four glorious days of worshipping the Lord, and rejoicing in his presence.
Each conference session was very informative, and taught by many seasoned ministers of God, both teaching principles of the Kingdom of God, and in the Christian dance worship ministry. It was a time of training and stepping up to a new level of ministry.
Each of us took away a treasure in our hearts of what the Lord wanted to do in our lives. If you have never been and get the opportunity to attend, we encourage you to participate in this annual event. For more information you may visit their ministry website at www.exaltationohio.com
MISSION UPDATE APRIL 18, 2007 Trinidad & Tobago
Trinidad & Tobago
The trip to Trinidad & Tobago was wonderful. The Lord did so many things in my own life, as well as in the lives of those Shirley and I had the joy of ministering to. We saw first hand how when people seek the Lord with their whole heart, he hears, and answers, and makes his presence known! The glory of the Lord was manifested so many times during the teachings and the worship, it was truly amazing!
I personally have never experienced the degree of anointing in my own personal ministry that we saw manifesting all around us and through us, in Trinidad and Tobago. Many hearts were changed according to the peoples own testimonies, because of what the Lord did in their lives, through the biblical teachings and the worship dance conferences. Bondage, and deceptions of the enemy were broken off of peoples lives, and they came into a deeper level of love and relationship with the Lord. This in turn brought great joy, excitement and release, to the people of God, and has helped empower them to be a greater witness for Jesus.
One new Worship Dance Ministry was birthed through the conferences in San Fernando, Trinidad, and 2 other dance ministries were spurred on to a greater understanding of the importance of pure worship and the power of spiritual warfare in the dance. As news spread about the Worship Dance Conferences, we were asked to bring our newly birthed, San Fernando dance worship team to, THE ESTHER CONFERENCE, (which came from Miami to Trinidad) to minister in worship dance. Many pastors and church leaders shared how they were truly touched and ministered to, by the beauty and holiness of the dance, and the awesome presence and power of the Lord which was manifested. We saw this take place at The Esther Conference, as well as in churches and our other conference meetings. These precious men and women of God gained a new respect and excitement for this type of worship. It always looks good when God shows up!!
Man was created to worship God, and to have fellowship with him. Worship is the one thing we can do for God, that he will not do for himself!! The seed of worship dance ministry has been growing in the womb of this ministry for years, and now the baby is coming forth. When Ken was alive he always encouraged me in this area of ministry, and now it is growing into a praise and glory to the Lord. As we learn to worship and minister to our King, the place we must start is in the heart of the worshiper. We must learn to live holy, clean and sanctified lives as believers in Jesus. Thus a call of repentance is ringing out from this ministry, hand in hand with the call to worship. It is time for us to get our hearts right, forsake the sins that so easily beset us, and prepare the way of the Lord in our hearts! Only then can we speak effectively to the nations!
It seems, as Pastor Ravi said in Trinidad, The ministry still has an evangelistic, missionary minded goal, and the principles of the Kingdom of God are of absolute top priority, but now the ministry is expanding into the importance of worship. Our goal is to help teach believers, not only so they to can take the Word of God, and the talents and gifts the Lord has given them, to reach out and minister to others, but also that they might use those same gifts, to minister first and foremost to the Lord of Glory, thus developing a deeper more intimate relationship with the lover of their souls, the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord gave me a new scripture for the purpose of the ministry. It is Isaiah 61. I encourage you to take the time to read through this short chapter. This is the mandate of this ministry. Within this mandate his anointing will be manifested to:
preach good tidings unto the meek;
to bind up the broken hearted;
to proclaim liberty to the captives;
the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord;
to proclaim the day of vengeance of our God;
to comfort all that mourn;
to give them beauty for ashes,
the oil of joy for mourning,
the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness....
that he (the Lord) might be glorified.
Restoration
Raising up and strengthening ministers/ministries
Bringing forth joy and rejoicing in the bride and bridegroom relationship with the Lord
Bringing in the harvest
Righteousness and praise to spring forth before all nations
We saw many of these things happen in peoples lives through the ministry in Trinidad and Tobago. God is so wonderful, that he would take what little we have to offer, mix it with his power and anointing, and use it to bring glory to himself. God is not looking for great abilities, as much as he is our availability. It is an honor to serve him.
Shirley and I had opportunity to minister in different churches, and preaching in the marketplace. In the churches we were ministering in the area of worship dance; and teaching on the importance of Living a sanctified life; Loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind & strength; Repentance and receiving God’s blessing in our lives; The priesthood of the believer(specifically pertaining to worship), Being a vessel of honor; Spiritual warfare (specifically pertaining to the area of worship). In the market place I shared about the Kingdom of God, and what it is compared to in the scripture, and giving the call to salvation and repentance to all those within the sound of the public address system, as it went out over the city’s atmosphere.
Shirley has a lovely ability to sing, and she shared in song, as well as assisting me in the worship dance conferences. She was a tremendous help to me. She helped to complete the areas where I lacked. Isn't that how the body of Christ is supposed to work together?
We did a Memorial Service in San Fernando, Trinidad in Ken's honor. This was not an easy process for me, as a matter of fact it was very trying emotionally, as once again the impact of Ken’s passing hit me with full fury. However, I felt I needed to do this for the people in Trinidad who meant so much to Ken. God’s grace was sufficient. I'm thankful for all who came. Each one helped to make this celebration of his life a precious memory.
Ken's ashes were cast between the islands of Trinidad & Tobago, carried on the wings of the wind, and the waves of the sea, to their resting place, but he will always have his place in my heart. I know Ken is in the presence of the Lord, and though he was in my past, he is now in my future as well, as I know I will see him again when it is my time to leave this earth, or on that great day when the Lord returns to this earth with all his saints to set up his Kingdom. We will again be together in the family of God forever in eternity. It's so good to know that for those in Christ the end of our life on this earth, is the beginning of our life in the fullness of the Lord's awesome presence.
I met with Pastor Sammy and Pastor Morris of Guyana while in Trinidad, these two dear brother have given an invitation to come and minister in their country. We will notify via email when this trip is actually planned.
An Exhortation:
God is not looking for preachers, singers, musicians, dancers, theological doctors of this or that, he is looking for worshipers. Worship is the one thing that we can give to God, that he will not do for himself. Jesus said, God is a Spirit, and they that worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth. This should be the goal of every believer. There is no greater joy than to worship the King of Glory!
When we worship God with a pure heart, the world takes notice, and they see that we have something that is different than religion. This stirs their hearts, and they desire to know what we have in the Lord. This opens the opportunity to share with them how they can have a relationship with this wonderful God that we have come to love and serve.
The Lord has given to every believer the ministry of reconciliation, which is showing people how they can have a relationship with the one and only, true and living God, that created them and loves them so much. May we be a shining display of his grace and mercy in our lives as we reach out to others.
Thank you for taking the time to let me share with you. Also thank you to all those of you who have stood in support of what the Lord is doing through this ministry. Truly we are co-laborers together in Christ, and your gifts of love and encouragement mean more than you will ever know.
May the Lord's richest blessings be upon you.
All gift given to Redemption Ministries International are tax-deductible. Thank you for your support.

MISSION UPDATE JANUARY 27, 2007-
THE PASSING AWAY OF OUR BELOVED PASTOR KEN CONREY
On November 7, 2006, our beloved Pastor Ken Conrey passed away suddenly into the presence of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A Memorial Service was held on November 12, 2006 at the Restoration Church in Dickson, Tennessee.
Ken had spoken in times past that if he passed away before the Lord's return, he wanted his home going service to be a celebration of his life. Ken did not want people to overly grieve, because he would be in the presence of the Lord.
Ken's wife, Linda, organized and officated her husband's Memorial Service.
One hour before the service there was a time of visitation. During this time, a slide show of Ken's life and mission work, was being projected in the sanctuary, with Ken's music playing over the PA system.
People came from all directions, and from many miles to celebrate the life and ministry of our beloved Pastor Ken.
Some of the area church services, were cancelled so entire congregations could attend the memorial service, and show their love and respect for this precious servant of the Lord.
As the worship began Linda rose to the task, determined that her husband's homegoing would be the type of celebration he desired, one that would bring glory to the Lord.
Linda knew that the people would follow her lead, so as the music began, she stood up, and raised her hands to the Lord, and began to worship the Lord. The grace of God was absolutely amazing to keep her, and empower her during this ceremony for her beloved.
There was an incredible joy and anointing released during the praise and worship. Many people had never been to a Memorial Service like this one.
Because Worship Dance was a part of Ken and Linda's ministry together, it was very appropriate for her to dance at her husband's Memorial Service. Linda wore a white, flowing dance garment, as she stepped to the front of the church. She had chosen the song, "Here I Am To Worship", to dance before the Lord, as an act of honor, trust and love, for the God that holds her and her husband's life in his hands.
Her dance was also in honor of her husband, as he loved to see her worship to this song. For Linda, it was a statement to God, Ken and the devil, that regardless of her circumstances she would continue in the ministry of the Lord. Her dance was a statement of honor, trust, commitment, and warfare.
During the dance something supernatural happened. As Linda took up her worship flags near the end of the song, a powerful anointing, and presence of the Lord invaded the congregation, and the people jumped to their feet, and began to shout their high praises to the Lord. Heaven and earth came together in that moment, and the atmosphere was charged with the power and presence of the Lord. It was as if there was no separation between heaven and earth. It was an awesome experience, especially for Linda. It was truly a gift from the Lord.
Throughout the service, testimonies were shared, relationships mended, friends and loved ones reunited, God was glorified, Ken's life was honored so powerfully, and lives were touched and changed. This is what Ken would have wanted.
Ken Conrey was only 54 years old when he departed from this earth, and was escorted into the presence of the Lord by his holy angels.
Many times as Ken and Linda would share Christ with people, they would ask them the question, "If you were to drop dead right now, where would you spend eternity?" Most people do not think this will ever happen to them. However we do not know the number of our days. Ken was here one moment and gone the next. He was ready to meet his maker, and to be welcomed into the glories of heaven, but all people cannot say they are ready to meet their maker. Even with the instant departure of her husband, Linda will use the suddenness of her beloveds passing, to bring to the lost the reality, that one must be ready at all times for eternity, and the importance of them being in right standing with God, through faith in Jesus Christ, and his atoning work for them on the cross.
Pastor Ken was dearly loved by so many people, and he will be terribly missed, but a day is coming when we, who have recieved Jesus as our Lord and Savior will all be together again, and we will be together forever in eternity, with our Lord Jesus Christ.
The ministry that Pastor Ken started will continue, and the vision will go on.
